A kickin' cocktail
Save a cowboy, ride a mule! Maybe not, but you can forgo convention (and the vodka) for our twist on the classic, kicked up a notch! Easy, refreshing, no tools required? I’ll have two, please. The Kentucky Coffee Mule is a twist on the Mid-century classic, and deliciously refreshing, Moscow Mule. The original calls for vodka, lime, and ginger beer but we kick ours up a notch with a couple of tweaks and a shot of Kentucky Coffee Whiskey for good measure.
AROMA: Candied ginger, caramelized honey, and sweet coffee
FLAVOR: Effervescence on the palate with sweet and spicy ginger honey and a touch of coffee on the finish.
- 2 oz Kentucky Coffee Whiskey
- 0.5 oz Fresh Lime Juice
- 0.5 oz Ginger Honey
- 4 oz Club Soda
- Garnish: Sprig of fresh mint, Lime wedge, Pinch of ground coffee or coffee beans
- Glassware: Your Favorite Coffee Mug

HOW TO MAKE THIS DRINK
Grab your favorite coffee mug and fill with ice.
Add ingredients beginning with a shot of Kentucky Coffee Whiskey followed by ginger honey, fresh lime, and top off with club soda.
Allow ingredients to settle after stirring.
Garnish with a sprig or two of fresh mint, a lime wedge, and a pinch of ground coffee.
