Red Oak Coffee Cocktail
Resembling the shade of Red Oak leaves during your favorite fall motorcycle ride, this drink-me-any-season concoction mixes sweet honey syrup and sherry with fresh lemon juice to “leaf” you with fruity notes cut by whiskey flavors to create a sophisticated finish.
AROMA: Robust coffee with nuances of berries and citrus
FLAVOR: Dark coffee and raisins with a pop of citrus and honey
- 1oz Kentucky Coffee Whiskey
- 0.5oz PX Sherry
- 0.25oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- 0.25oz Honey Syrup
- 4 Raspberries [crushed]
- Garnish: Raspberries [on a cocktail pick] Pinch of ground coffee & nutmeg
- Glassware: Nick & Nora
JUST FOUR EASY STEPS
HOW TO MAKE THIS DRINK
Add ingredients into a cocktail shaker and gently muddle the raspberries.
Add ice and shake hard.
Fine strain into a chilled cocktail glass preferably Nick & Nora glass).
Garnish with 3 raspberries on a cocktail pick and a pinch of ground coffee & nutmeg.
